We're excited to announce that the Leaky Bucket Game Spring '24 Game Jam officially starts today! As our latest initiative in promoting the African game development industry, we’ve partnered with the amazing people of Africacomicade to make this happen.
The jam will have two separate categories and themes for PC and mobile (Android & iOS).
Each category will have its own prize pool: $500 for PC and $400 for mobile.
The jam will run from now until the 28th of April. Judging of the submissions will take place as soon as the jam is over and announcements of the final winners will be done no later than May 14th 2024.
The game jam will be hosted and run on itch.io. If you'd like to check out the submissions, the link to the jam is available here.
The theme for the PC category is 'Falling', while the theme for the mobile category is 'Cycles'.
To be eligible to register for the game jam, you must be currently resident in an African country.
